At Christ Lutheran Preschool, we have a sincere love for children and a commitment to partner with families in educating their children to prepare them socially, emotionally, physically, academically, and spiritually. We believe that every child is a unique and special gift from God, created in His image to be molded, developed, and encouraged to use his/her talents and gifts for a life of responsible Christian service.

Our highly qualified staff plans and implements a daily curriculum that encourages young children to develop an excitement in learning about their world. In the preschool setting our staff strives to:

• Instill in each child the knowledge of their value as a precious child of God
• Provide a safe, caring environment in which children can discover, explore, and learn about themselves, others, and the world that God created
• Model and encourage the love of God
• Provide a basic foundation for future education
• Provide an opportunity for cooperative play and learning
• Provide each child with creative learning experiences in music, art, language, literature, math, and science
• Build a positive self-concept

Christ Lutheran Preschool has served the community of La Mesa for fifteen years. Our facility is open year round Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding noted holidays. Our morning preschool enrichment program is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday. A variety of schedules within the week are available to meet the needs of families with young children. We have earned the reputation of building a program that integrates a strong emphasis on Christian education, with a solid balance of learning and fun.
